I didn't see it anywhere you don't have a diode in line do you? i have rebuilt many of these units and after done it takes a least 8-9 mph to even start and break in time can be done with the unit down blades off insert allen into shaft and turn with drill, which you can check for output(connected to battries) Hope this can help
