Bluesky 3000i charge controller not working

I have 4 Renogy  100 watt panels and 4 Trojan 31 agm battery with a bluesky 3000i charge controller not working after only 5 months.I disconnect and reconnect all it does is show r 2.5 then goes to battery voltage on the display. Can anybody help me out,and I tried to get a hold of bluesky,2 weeks and no contact from them

    Use a volt meter to check the voltages at the Battery and Solar Array terminals (directly on the screw/terminal block). It is possible that you have a poor electrical connection somewhere.

    Otherwise, you may have to look for a replacement controller(?).
