Does anyone have any info/experience with the following controller. I can't find much about it or if it is a good controller or not.

The SME does not appear to have any programmable set points for charging (bulk, absorb, float). If you use flooded cell deep cycle batteries, the default set points are a little bit low--But they can work if you are not deeply cycling the battery.

How well they are designed/put together--I have no idea.

Sounds like I should stick with Morningstar or better known brands.

You are on the other side of the world from me (I guess)--I know that US products are probably not cheap other there.

The cost of experimenting may be worth a try--Or if you have a good local dealer/other solar users in your region, they may have some local/China direct brands that will work better.
