Shopping for a 48Volt Mppt controller

Doing an experimental tri wheel toy, looking for the least expensive controller on the market.
I tried the KID controller and works great but a bit too costly.
Any suggestions appreciated

    While not MPPT the Schnider/Xantrex C-40 controller does 12, 24 or 48 volt . about $120.00.

2.1 Kw Suntech 175 mono, Classic 200, Trace SW 4024 ( 15 years old  but brand new out of sealed factory box Jan. 2015), Bogart Tri-metric, 540 ah @24 volt AGM battery bank. Plenty of Baja Sea of Cortez sunshine.

What wattage array? What bank voltage? Anything special (such as step up voltage from solar array to battery bank)?
