finally got the power supply i wanted to Finnish off my 12 volt computer. with the computer , monitor and led lights and my cband box running, im only using 3.3 amps. in next few days ill be off to buy my 1st,  2 golf cart battery's and retire my poor little 24dc marine  wal mart battery.

    I'm relatively new to solar and was curious what kind of luck you had with the marine battery from Wallymart? I looked at the larger one I think it was a 29DC. I'm only using a couple of amps here as well

    i only used the 24dc is because i had it already, but for me it works just fine have had it now for 3 years, if your gonna use marine battery's i would look at the group 31's, they are even bigger than the 29's and at oreilly"s here in my town the 31's are only 94$. i may consider buy them instead of the golf cart battery's, as it will be much easier to switch to 24 volts and cheaper in the mean time.
