is it recommended for solar applications? i'd like to buy 2 sets for 4 Trojan batteries i have , equalization is the only process I can think of that'll probably give the qwik fill's caps a little problem, does anybody have experience with these watering systems?

A few folks over the years have had problems where the in cell valve/water level control has failed--And ended up using all of their distilled water and batteries having their electrolyte flushed out of the cells--And a big mess on the ground/in the shop.

My two cents would be to use a manual shutoff valve and only turn it on when you are there--If you need to have the system keep water levels up when you are not there--Make sure you have a catch basin so that you can trap/dump any overflow safely outside the building.
