    hi guys,in regarding off grid,
    I don't have generator or ac mains.
    I have designed a system which solar array connected to mppt charger controller and to battery and to inverter and to ac loads.
    in choosing the inverters which type i can choose.
    IS hybrid inverters be choosed? Inverter/charger ?
    some one says These hybrid and inverter/ chargers can be used for grid tied also for off grid. so i get confused.

    Try to keep your questions here for now... It too difficult to follow/answer your related questions all over the forum.

    If you have a question about posts in an older thread, just copy the text from the other post(s) and ask your question here.

    A Hybrid Inverter typically can both do Off Grid (when grid has failed, or if there is no grid) and Grid Tied (when grid is functional).

    Many vendors will sell a Hybrid Inverter into a "pure" off grid system--It does not cost them much more to add GT Inverter function to an Off Grid AC Inverter.

    From what I have seen, many (some, most, all?) Hybrid GT/OG AC inverters have an integrated AC battery charger (from AC mains/Generator AC connection).
