Conext cascade feature, what is it?

Hi, I just finished installing a Conext 6848 and at this point it seems to be running well. What is the cascade feature? It shows "enabled" but since I can't find anything on it in the book I'm afraid to mess with this setting.

The setting appears to be used when you have more than one Schneider Xanbus device in the system.

If you want to change the setting for Absorb V, for instance, you only have to change it in one thing - the change is automatically made on the other components in the system that can charge batteries and use that setting. It is called "cascading" the settings over Xanbus. So you don't have to change it manually in every component.

Thanks inedog. I had a solar guy who was suppose to custom make some of my cables and help program the inverter for me but he keeps putting me off so I just completed the installation myself. 4500 watt ground mount system grid tied with batteries.... lots of learning with this project but it seems to be running correctly.

I'm sure I'll be back with more questions, While I've been on this forum for a while I need to be more active.
