I just upgraded my System with another 250 more watts and another Midnite Kid. Do i need to add another shunt and Whizbang Jr to this new Kid?
1460 Watts Solar @24v. 675 AH Battery Bank using 12 6v Trojan T-105. 1 Midnite Classic 150. 1500 Watt 24v Samlex Pure Sine Inverter

    Hi Zak..,

    NO, one Shunt with one WBjr will show all of the current going into and from the battery.

    Ok i was just wondering. Because i will be adding up to 750 more watts and splitting the Solar into 2 arrays. 960 watts on 1st Array and 2nd eventually 1000 watts

    Yes, have run a single Shunt on a system with one MidNite Classic, and one OB MX-60, each charging the same battery (and, yes, separate PV arrays), and the WB reports to the Classic the total battery charging current form each of the different brand CCs. The Classic goes to Float at the correct total EA that is set. Just need to carefully adjust the settings in the MX-60, to try to get it to cooperate without direct communication.
