This article is very interesting. And if the trend in battery capacity and reliability keeps going up while this keeps going down, it shouldn't be too long before everyone can go off grid.

  Very interesting read, I guess the more people get involved the cheaper the panels get and then the more people get involved- it's a near ending upwards lift!
