New Battery Technology

I really hope so, because batteries are the most disappointing component of any energy system. No battery I've ever owned amazed me with it's performance, they always seem to disappoint even if only after a few dozen cycles. In fact, any electrical component that stores energy is fragile - capacitors for example are usually the first components to go on an electronic circuit board.

Bring on new, cheap & amazing battery technology - the world needs it, desperately...
