Re: Is there solar charge controllers for LiPo batteries?
From memory so maby wrong, but I have heard of the outback fm80 being used and the midnight classic being used. I believe the flote and absorb were set to the same voltage. One of the guys using lipo batts is Gorden L......... On the outback forum. You might go there and pm him. I can't remember how to spell his last name but that is his forum name and the only gorden I have seen.
The above is a post that might give you a way to pm him. He did put a thread on the forum of his experiance and settings but search doesn't bring up anything for me on that forum.
I hope this helps.

Kjetil, a search here for LiFePo4 will show 150 threads. some of them get well into the mechanics of what is needed for LI type batteries.
Depending on the battery bank size there are several controllers you could use but I think you will need to be in the MPPT class to get all the features you might need or want.
I would look to the MidNite KID model, it's good for 30A output and appears rock solid at that output, continuously. As a ballpark reference you would need 4-12V ~140W panels to deliver 30A to the CC, with your systems present 12V setup.

I've been looking at BlueSolar MPPT 75|50 by Victron Energy. Setting can be changed manually or use one of 8 pre-programmed settings. Other add-ons that I really like are remote monitoring if your cabin or RV have a internet connection.

Beware the Voc limit on the Victron MPPT's it's only 75V for the smaller unit which could limit your array layout choices. Remote monitoring needs a few other devices from them to work. IMO, Midnite and Morningstar MPPT's are better options, more configurable and higher Voc limit.
