Charge Controller sizing tool

Tried to use the Midnite Solar sizing tool for 4*250 watt Kyocera panels into a 24 volt battery voltage
it seems to be telling me that i cant use a Classic controller it maybe i entered the strings incorrectly ie 2 panels in series * 2 strings
I used the approx temp for Eastern Washington state
can any one see where i went wrong or are the classics to big for my proposed system

You've entered the panels as being all in series, judging by the Vmp & Voc.
Number of Modules in Series should be '2' and Number of Parallel Strings should be '2'. -

I thought i had posted this apologies if its duplicated
is the 150 Classic going to be too much for this system ie approx 1KW
just thinking that buying a good controller once would be better than buying another if i increase my PV panel size

It should not be a problem. 1kW on a 24 Volt system will put out 32 Amps. Now this could be fine on a 30 Amp Kid which will clip 2 Amps, but if you want to expand having the Classic's 80 Amp capacity is a good idea.
Buying a good, flexible controller once is a good idea because yes you will only have to buy it once.
