I'm glad to report that I'm changing my Main AC Panel.

It was so scary as it was being taken out, it literally fell apart!

This is what it looked like:

This is a burnt part we found. (This apt is old and was rented for many years).

    Amazing the place didn't burn down. :p

    BTW where I am that 'sealed in the wall' installation would no longer be allowed: they require the wires going into the service panel be accessible.

    Good point. Next up I need to get ground wiring in and get all the right color wires in.
