Installing Delta LA302DC Photovoltaic Surge Arrestor

Delta LA302DC Photovoltaic Surge Arrestor

I am putting together my combiner box and I am stumped.
I have three wires. One attached to the Negative buss bar, the Green attached to the ground buss bar, now where does the Red go ?
There is a Positive buss bar across the top where all of the circuit breakers combine. Is that where it should be attached?
The Delta website appears to be down, and NA Wind & Sun does not have enough info.

Neg Bus on Left, Grnd on Right , then the Positive bus bar is After the breakers at top.

    From your description the installation is all on the DC side?

    Try looking at the M site for wiring diagrams for the SPD's

    Yes, this is the DC surge arrestor attached to the DC combiner box. What "M" site? What's an SPD ?

    Pretty much you've got it: protection goes between positive and ground and negative and ground.

    My reference has for surge protection has always been John Wiles. He uses both the midnite and delta. If you are in a challenging environment (top of the mountain) you may consider his unbiased testing with lightning in New Mexico and his recommendation for prayer also.

    I'm stopping the flame war before it gets started. We've got enough to do around here without that sort of thing going on.
