Hi Guys..
After reading the devastating posts on the Aims Inverter, I am wondering if the gurus here have any input on the "Advanced PureSine Inverters:..I am looking at the 5000/10000 model being sold out of Michigan model AT5000P...Your thoughts would be most appreciated as I am about to buy one..
Thanks,
Paul

That looks like mass produced not in Michigan but China.Don"t waste your money put a little more and get a decent brand.Besides operating 5000w at 12v nominal is not good for your wiring or batteries.

I seriously wouldn't waste my money. Anything greater than 2500 watts @ 12 volts should throw up lots of red flags. The current demands of such an inverter are not large, they're HUGE to the extreme and with that, goes lots of problems. You just don't do 5000 watts @ 12 volts.
