Hi All,
I'm doing some research on the evolution of solar power systems. I'm currently trying to find some examples of early 1990's flat roof ballasted systems. Do any of our members here know of any such systems still in existence? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Welcome to the forum "klunker".

    Just out of curiosity--Are you looking for possibly using ballasted solar arrays for "temporary" installations (ground and/or roof mount)?

    If so, you might want to give a region where you would be interested in installations that have survived (or not) hurricane/tornado/high winds?

    There are many building code/design issues (use a licensed civil engineer? Satisfy a local building department) that would be needed for a "legal in the US" type installation--Almost without regard if you find a 20+ year old successful ballasted install.
