Midnight Solar MNE-240 Voltage Checks

I was running through the start-up and testing voltage checks on page 18 of the owners manual. I failed on 4.0 B. 2a. (the generator voltage between the AC Hot OUT 1 bus-bar and the Neutral Bus Bar i.e. no 120Vac ) Test 2b passed on the AC Hot Out 2 (confirmed 120VAC) and Test 2c failed between AC Hot Out 1 bus-bar and the AC Hot Out 2 bus-bar (120 VAC instead of 240VAC) How do I trouble shoot this?

Can you give us a link to the installation manual...

And are you wiring a 120 VAC or 120/240 VAC genset + AC inverter system?

    nomad,

Is the generator capable of outputting 240 VAC ? If the generator has a 120/240 VAC switch (which makes all of the generator power 120 V not 240 V), is this switch in the 240 VAC position?

Seems to me, if you have 120 V in steps a and b, then if only 120 VAC in step c, perhaps the genset might only be outputting 120 VAC.

Also check all of the wiring for the generator AC into the E-panel, the bypass switch wiring and the wiring of the AV busbars. I have not dealt with one of these panels ... guessing. Good Luck, Vic
