Morningstar Sunsaver 20 Gen 2 age?

I was gifted (2) Sunsaver 20L-12V charge controllers that appear to be new in the box. I have a current gen 2 and gen 3 and they both come in a brown box with green lettering. The two "gifts" are in white boxes with black lettering. They have 8 digit serial numbers that start with 0615.... Does anyone have a clue at the date of manufacture? I have been unable to find anything with Google searches. I figured someone on the forum has one that fits the description and would enlighten me.

    Ha I get to answer my own inquiry! I took a chance and emailed Morningstar and received an answer today. The first four digits are the date code. The first two are year. The next two digits are the week of the year. So my date code is the 2nd week of April 2006.
