PV Circuit Breakers ?

Is there any reason for a combined + circuit breaker from a combiner box to the charge controller. The reason I'm asking is the E Panel I have shows one but the combiner has breakers for individual strings already.

Convenient method of disconnecting the array as a whole. That's about it.

So isc times the number of strings times 1.56 to get the rating for the breaker?
