    Okay, how many details can you provide us with regarding what your existing electrical service is, where you're located, what the utility's requirements/restrictions are, and why exactly you want to add a grid-tie system?

    Otherwise if it's a question of micro inverters vs. central inverter, the micros can be easier to install for some people and they have greater flexibility if you have to put panels facing different directions. The central inverters tend to be less money per Watt and the wiring is more straight-forward.

    Just generalizations. We can go into more detail if you do. :D

    And they produce slightly better, especially for systems with shade. For a higher price, of course.
