Is it preferred to wire a battery ventilation fan to the aux terminal of the inverter or charge controller?
I have an Outback GVFX3524 inverter and Flexmax 80 charge controller.

Re: Aux ventilation fan wiring
Since the charge controller does the charging most of the time (we hope) it should also be the primary control of any needed ventilation of the batteries. -
Re: Aux ventilation fan wiring
Ventilation depends on the voltage of batteries, so any device can run it.
I decided to attach it to the inverter because the inverter is always on, but I may need to switch off or disconnect charge controllers for maintenance.
I did the same thing with the temperature sensor - attached to the inverter and shared with charge controllers.
