Over the last couple of years, investors who were hoping to do well by doing good have gotten bad sunburns. Since the start of 2011, the two ETFs which track the solar sector, Guggenheim Solar (NYSE:TAN) and Market Vectors Solar Energy (KWT) are down 74% and 75%, respectively, even after the large jumps up in the first week of the year.More...

Step two. Lobby (spend bucks in Washington DC) to push agenda favorable to your investments (or proposed investments) such as wind turbines, natural gas, or rail transportation for crude oil/oil products.
Step three. something happens here
Step four. Make oodles of money.
It appears that Step Two is not all that expensive.
