Are the free Solar inverter classes "worth" it?

My guess is these free seminar's are 50% good info and 50% promotion:

I'll likely be attending both.
The scond one is web based so most anyone can sign up.
If anyone has any feedback experience please let me know. If it's a whole day info mercial I'll probably pass.

    I have been to several of the SMA seminars and found them worthwhile. Of course the information will be manufacturer specific, but it's an excellent chance to go into detail with the tech guys about their gear. The SMA seminars usually count as CE for NABCEP cert requirements.

    I spent a week at the SMA seminars, well worth it. While the material is SMA specific a lot of it applies to every other manufacturer too, you also sit in a room full of installers who will collectively have a wealth of knowledge about other kit.
