HY 3000W With SMA Windy Boy?

Hi Guys

Hope all is well.
I need some help- Will be much appreciated:
I am a bit confused on the best way to Grid Tie my HY 3000 Turbine.
I have been looking into the SMA windyboy range, However I am worried that the electromagnetic over speed function offed by the default factory off grid controller will be lost.
And in High winds the SMA wont keep the Turbine in its safe RPM ?

Thanks guys - any ideas?

Call the power company and tell them what you got, then ask what to do. The unit should be designed for over speed/over voltage protection. Kind of like a voltage regulator on an alternator.

Thanks for this! Can the WindyBoy system be calibrated so the Wind Turbine will be braked with electromagnetic breaking. As the controllers that come with the Turbine do?

Don't know off-hand, you'll have to dive into the manual to see whether that's possible.
