I'm a bit skeptical about his battery cost estimate near the end though; he says he expects to get 2000 cycles out of his Trojan T-1275 batteries with an over 30% average DOD, which sounds optimistic to me (especially given that his first set of batteries were dead in two years). But the battery cost-vs.-lifecycle discussion is interesting.
