Credit to a number of you here!
We completed our month long trip in our teardrop trailer and seven of those days were off the grid relying on solar. Four of those days were in deep forest Big Basin Redwoods state park and Damond O National Forest. The teardrop is set up with all LED lights, computer case fans, flat screen TV. The 185W high voltage panel feeds into a Morningstar Sunsaver MPPT which feeds into a 150AH Lifeline AGM, Morningstar Suresine inverter and Monitored by a Victron battery monitor.
Even at Big Basin the SOC was at 100% by the end of the day and I guarantee there was darn little direct sun (or none on the full panel). One night we watched a couple of movies and listened to the radio (Sirius satellite receiver) as there was a college group that came in from SF.
Every thing worked, not with out a couple of glitches, but nothing I could not fix. My wife did a blog which includes a couple of pictures of the teardrop.
So than k to all that helped with advice, I did pay attention!
