2 years old, "supposedly" lightly used. If they are holding a full charge, do you guys think it's worth it. I need AGMs right now because I'm in a small apartment and don't want to deal with having to make a box and route a vent up and out. $200 vs $500-$600 new. Batteries really won't be used at all unless power goes out or SHTF.

do a load test/recharge to see how they perform.. Deka should have the specs for the test procedure

we've said this many times when it comes to used batteries. beware as you don't have a clue of their age, maintenance, if charged properly, etc let alone why he is truthfully getting rid of them. you could get stuck needing to dispose of these batteries and you can take a huge loss. the seller needs to prove their worthiness or he should drop the price tag to disposal rates.

I would offer at max, 10 cents on the $$ , but you also want to check them first....
If they are your first set you wont be out the price of new as they can be a 'learner set'. 'learners' have a habit of getting abused.
