Wind Energy Distribution Network?

I am a student taking an alternative energy course and need to research the distribution market for large wind turbine companies. Does GE or other big companies use OEM's or do they directly sell to wind farm operators?

Does anyone know the sales channels and if so a ballpark guess on the gross profit margins at each channel?

Thanks!

Northern Power sells direct to customer. Note, GE sells a lot of wind turbines as they also will finance projects, most of the other firms dont offer this option or have to source it to a third party.

Here is another wind turbine company. I am retired a couple of years from a foundry in Greenville Pa. that makes the turbine hubs and gearbox cases. http://www.clipperwind.com/ :Dsolarvic:D
