Auto Gen Start with "Remote Control" Generators?

2 wire gen starts / 3 wire gen starts... I ran across a few of the portable generators being sold these days with a wireless remote, and the first thing I thought of is that these internal starting systems should be easy to hack into for an automatic gen start without the extra modules often required.

I haven't bought one yet, but I'm thinking there's got to be a way to rig up some relays to push a hard-wired signal into the remote-start logic...

Has anyone looked into this?
