Midnite solar AC bypass switch

Hello all,

We just moved to a new location, during the move I believe the AC bypass switch on my Midnite solar E-panel box has been flipped up and down a few times. I have the system up and ready to turn on however, I am not sure if the switch should be in "bypass" or "invert". Sorry if this is a dumb question but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks !!

    Hi Off,

I know nothing, but here is the MN E-Panel for OB page, it appears to have manuals:
    http://www.midnitesolar.com/products.php?menuItem=products&productCat_ID=1&productCatName=Outback E-Panel

    There is the MN Forum:

Halfcrazy, the Chief Tech Support person for MN frequents this WindSun Forum, but the reply may be faster at the MN Forum, Good Luck, Vic

"INVERT" is for general solar operation.
"BYPASS" is for if your solar dies you can bypass it and put your loads directly on grid power.
This is a special breaker switch that prevents you from the catastrophic error of turning them both on at the same time. Invert or Bypass - not both!
