Battery Charging

I have 4 identical 6V batteries hooked up in a series/parallel connection. I have a Sunsaver Duo charge controller which leads to my question, should I be charging these as one bank all together (current set up) or could I utilize the Duo and charge each set (the 2 6v in series) seperately?

Thanks Ken

    Configuration for use?

If you use it as two 12 Volts in parallel it should be charged as such; keep the discharge and recharge consistent across all batteries. If you use it as two separate 12 Volt batteries it should be charged that way. Trying to charge it as two 12 Volt units and use it as one would soon become problematic.

It's a 12v 225 amp battery set up with only 1 65 watt panel at this time, I have an additional set up that is identical that I will connect in a series/parallel connection to the others when I get more panel. I will connect as suggested by cariboocoot to charge as a group.

Thanks again for your input gentlemen, it's appreciated very much.

65W panel doesn't meet the minimum 5% charge rate (11.25 Amps) needed for a 225AH bank.
