Wiring code for remote start Honda EU 5500

Hello all:
I am connecting a remote start cable from my new Honda EU 5500 generator to my Xantrex sw5548. I will be using relays RY7 and RY8 on the Xantrex for remote starting the generator. Each relay will take two wires. I have the nice new cord from Honda that mates up into the 6 pin (but only using four wires) connection on the generator end. Of these four wires 2 are most likely common, one is for start, and one is for stop. The colors are red, green, white and black. Does anyone know to which function each color corresponds so that I can properly mate it up to the Xantrex?

    Plug it in to the generator, take your DMM, and make some measurements. It may be along these lines:

    White = positive
    Black = start
    Green = stop
    Red = negative/not connected

    You should be able to check these by operating the start at the gen (functions will follow on the remote wiring harness).

    I do not guarantee this information is correct for any or all models.
