I have a question for anyone who can answer it. Sometimes when I try to charge my batteries with my generator I get the red flashing light on the outback fx. Sometimes it works fine and other times it doesn't. any thoughts??::

Re: FX red light when charging with gen
Welcome to the forum, Marc.
I've split this off into its own thread because it's a different issue.
I presume you're referring to the red "ERROR" LED in the status lights?
This is the "non-critical" error indicator. There are several things that can make it flash. In conjunction with generator charging, perhaps the gen's output is a bit out of spec sometimes? Without knowing what you have for a generator it's hard to tell. If the Voltage is too high or too low or out of frequency that can trigger the light flashing. It could be a wiring issue also (too small wire = Voltage drop from gen, especially with a load on). Some more details as to your particular system's specs and equipment might help pinpoint the problem.
