Hi I just wanted to know if anyone is using this powered vent with a Xantrex XW controller using the auxiliary output? This output is rated 200mA 12v - 2.4 Watts, and the Zephyr is rated 2.2 Watts. I talked to Zephyr and they said some people are having over volt defalts and others are running OK. I know I can drive a relay to make it work I would just like to go direct.

I would definitely drive a relay.Much easier to change an external relay should it fail.

Very true, a relay might be the way to go. I have 2-two inch vents now I just plug one in the winter to cut down the vent, I sure would like to stay this way without a power vent. I just might need more input air in the summer because of the lack of draft.
