I am also looking at the Pentametric with ethernet option to extract some of the data and it can do 3 shunts and complicated measurement. I am thinking about just one shunt.
Any experience with the main unit would be appreciated. Thanks.

They work great. Getting data out of them is a bit much, but they are otherwise a great product.
If you want to measure three separate current sources / sinks, you need to use do a bit of math, but it can be done. The first shunt is treated as the "battery" shunt, with the other two providing information about loads or chargers.
