Can these be stored at 120 degrees F?...They will be float charged at 13.22 volts....Thanks Charlie

    You might need to check with Concorde directly...

    The typical rule of thumb for battery aging (and actually any aging of electronics and other stuff) is the rule of 2 for every 10 degrees C...

    If you increase the operating/storage temperature by 10C, the life is reduced by 1/2. If you drop the temperature by 10C (18F), then life is extended by 2x...

    Batteries are rated at 25C (77F), and you want 120F storage (49C), then if you assume a 5 year life normally, you would get:
    • 5 years / (2^(49-25)/10) = 0.95 year average life
    If you can figure out some way of keeping the bank cooler, perhaps the savings of buying batteries 1/5th as often can justify a small building project (like a basement or something).

    If you need high temperature operation--you may need to look at a different battery chemistry (but most batteries are still going to age dramatically at the higher storage/operating temperatures anyway).
