charge settings on fm80

Hi Is there a more complete description of how to set the Wide or limit settings .When i installed the sensor and pluged it in it would seem the default was to limit at 14.1 volts on absorb. Unfortunately i didn't notice this for 3 months. Luckily Ive done a couple eqilizations during this time. I have set it to wide now. Am I correct in assuming the upper voltage will now not be restricted? Thanks for anyones help on this
