We urge you to sign up for our newsletter (see sign up box on main page, top).
We sent those out about once a month, and they quite often have specials and discounts that we do not offer anyplace else.

Re: Sign up for our Newsletter
Signed up. Got the welcome email. I chose text (h8@html email). There are some errors in it.
At the beginning, it says this:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Welcome to
Needs a carriage return between the tilde and the W.
At the end, in the sig it says this:
Northern Arizona Wind and Sun Inc.
email: newsletter@wind-sun.comphone: 800-383-0195web: http://store.solar-electric.com/
There should be a carriage return between the first line of hyphens and the e in email. Also, there should be a space or carriage return between .com and phone. Also, there should be a space or carriage return between 5 and web.
Cheers. -
Why text and not HTML? -
Odd, I will take a look at it. I only checked the HTML version.
Basic difference is that the HTML version has graphics/pictures, txt does not. -
Re: Sign up for our NewsletterWhy text and not HTML?
Old habit. Plain text cannot contain any sort of hokey (or malicious) code. It can't execute automatic tracking links. Most importantly, it can't contain any big stupid looking pink and purple fonts against a lime green background (yes, I have seen such things). Also, it uses less bandwidth.
If I want html, I'll fire up a browser. -
Re: Sign up for our Newsletter
On October 29, 2010, I received the October/November Newsletter (via email). It contained a 5% discount coupon code but it expired December 1, 2010.
I'm hoping that the December newsletter has a coupon code for the holiday season.
Re: Sign up for our Newsletter
The Decemember is in the works now, it should go out - we hope - this week. Trying to chew down a couple of vendors for a couple of holiday deals also. -
How about a 10% discount only for us, members of this Forum?
It is not a sin to dream... -
It is not a sin to dream...
if your dreaming might just as well be 25%. :roll::cool: -
Re: Sign up for our Newsletter
you guys think too small for dreaming as it could then be 100% off.:p -
Come on!
My dream was not a joke!
10% discount is actually realistic.
In fact, just 2 fridays ago ALL dept. stores in this nation offered 10 - 40% discount on almost everythig.
After all, most of us are faithful customers of NAWS. -
I would have to hit them big at 40% off, let alone 100% off! -
Re: Sign up for our NewsletterQuite true - but they are starting (1) at list price, and (2) they have much higher markups. Since most of our items are already priced at 15-25% off list, that does not leave us a lot of room, especially on panels and many of the larger inverters. Just for example, the markup on womens cosmetics is typically 100% to 300%
Ok, Ok, Ok. Ok.
5% will be just fine!
That original post was written before the latest revamp of their web site. Try this page, at the bottom: http://www.solar-electric.com/
"NEWSLETTER SIGN UP" in the box with the BBB accreditation et cetera. -
