How to wire from pole to underground box

I need to wire from tilt up pole to a box or something alongside 3' diameter concrete base.
I was thinking about outdoor flex conduet.
Go from where outlet in side of base of pole to a outdoor square D disconect, then into the ground with conduet.

Should work fine. I'd probably put a pull box on the pole, and then run the flex from there to the underground conduit - basically making the last bit of the underground run flexible.
