I needed an inexpensive inverter to power the laptop in the truck and came across this in a local auto parts store, on sale, so far I am happy with it compared to the old 140 ProWatz inverter.

Main reason is the onboard fan that keeps the unit quite cool, the 140 w model got pretty darn hot after a half hour or more and this worried me.

Does anyone have any knowlege of this company and it products, for modified sine wave they seem pretty wel built.

    Eric,

I use a similar inverter for powering a laptop in my truck. It appears to work fine. It seems to get a bit warm, so I make a point of placing it on the floor rather than on the seat -- better ventilation.
