Sorry, Bill. What would be the appropriate way? Would it be better rather then linking, to just copy and paste the meaty parts of it, or just forget about it all together?

    Horus,

It is a tough call... We are trying to avoid becoming a link farm for spammers... And we tend to frown on just posting lots of news stories or web sites that list specialized news (aggregation sites) with little commenting from the original poster.

If you have an article/company/product/idea that you want to comment on--Pro or con--please feel free to post the link(s) and your comments.

What we don't want to just a post+link that says "see this? it is interesting"...

To be honest, we are constantly trying to prevent spammers... Many are obvious (nobody here needs that stuff ;) ). And there are many that try to just have enough content (related to the site) where they can slip a paid link into the body of the post (I don't know how many people from India use solar installers in Seattle to answer their federal 30% tax credit questions--but there must be quite a few from past posts here ).

Yes, we have a 1 spam and the guy is out policy--But for people that make honest mistakes, we don't have any issues.

    Sincerely,
    -Bill
