I do not know why all Grundfos pumps are the same price--Looking at SunPumps (a competitor)--Their pumps are almost all the same price too regardless of size and capacity.

My guess is that the parts and manufacturing/testing are all very similar (and not high volume manufacturing--unlike a TV set) so there is not much difference in the costs to build and sell.

Perhaps somebody else has more information.
