    paper was one of the first things used to create a capacitor, but there are problems that can arise. other materials are also used, but none can replace a battery as of yet and one of the biggest problems is that caps leak the power so it will not hold it too long. another is the amount of power that is stored for a given area. improved capacitor? maybe. battery? not yet.
