System design using XW-CC

I am installing four SolarWorld 230W modules in a 12V nominal off-grid system using a Xantrex XW-CC.
I usually use the efficiency curves of the charge controller to determine input voltage, but that data is not published.
Would I be better off with all 4 modules in parallel (Vsc=36.9V) , or 2 strings of 2 (Vsc of 73.8V)?
Thanks!

Re: System design using XW-CC
Normally, you would be better off with the lower voltage--unless the panels are a long distance from the battery shed.
You can use the voltage drop calculator to compare wire length vs gauge vs amperage (remember, for this calculator, the wire length is 2x the run).
