Pumping from spring

Hello all
We have a spring on our property that tested perfect for us to use & produces about 7 gpm. Our usage will never go beyond 300 gpd . I have a 2500 gallon storage tank placed apprx. 40 feet above the house so we do not need to use pressure & we are intending to let the tank flow any extra water to a pond below the house.
Problems that I have are as follows.
220' of lift to tank
need only 1gpm more is ok
700' from spring to tank
Any thoughts
Thanks
Mike

Mike,
The application guide at the following link may help you design a solution: http://www.solar-electric.com/PDF_files/Solar_Pump_Guide.pdf
My (gu)estimate is that you'll be facing a total dynamic head of >100 psi. A pump like this one might work for you: http://www.shurflo.com/pages/new_industrial/Industrial/gen_industrial/genind_doc_sum/8035-963-239.html
Good luck!
