Upgraded from one 600 watt TSW and one 1000 watt MSW to an Exeltech XP 1100. This is a 1100 watt TSW inverter. Was going to DIY an automatic transfer switch also. But got the ideal to contact Exeltech first. Good thing I did, found out for $ 34.00 + S&H. They sent me a " Backplane Assy XP 600/1100 X20 50ms X-Fer Switch/Remote Alarm" board.
This is a built-in transfer switch option. Took only 10 mins to install. So far very happy with this inverter and their customer support.
