This is a new unit. Once or twice a week it fails to communicate with WI fi that is three feet away and shows five out of five bars. Most of the time it reacquires the Wi-fi but occasionally it doesn't and the only recourse is to shut off the DC input. Any suggestions for fixes are appreciated.

Decades ago, found a setup (aka "before solar") where moving the WIFI a bit father away made things work better (too high of Radio Energy)....

Today, have Xfinity WIFI where an Extender/Blink setup fails (~monthly or so). Even replaced the WIFI Extender---Works a bit better, but still had one failure (Extender appears to not "resync" with Xfinity base on occasion). Power cycle the extender and reboots fine...

Had a similar situation with our internet via Spectrum in our Duluth house which we don’t use very much.

For each occurrence I had the neighbor go over, power the router down, unplug, wait 60 seconds, restart…then it all worked again…until the next time.

We’ve got “Smart” locks and Nest thermostat so internet is important.

I finally replace the once top of the line modem with a new EERO modem and we haven’t had a single issue since. It’s been two years now.
