Hi I'm new to solar be gentle. I have a 12 acre offgrid property in Coconino County Az. I made a simple in series design for a 10kw system being installed in a 10 x 16 storage shed (pre-built and delivered). I just got both permits issued from the county.  Can I mount the AC Panel, Inverter, switches, disconnects and panels the (16) 695watt panels-ground mounted myself? I would like to do the trenching, cable running, wall penetrations etc. but I don't know what licensed electricians need/want to accomplish or are required to accomplish for the permit inspection. Any referral ideas for solar install experts would be greatly appreciated too.
Thank you

Congrats on getting the permits for your 10kW off-grid setup in Coconino, that's a huge step.

I was in a similar situation last year with my off-grid property. After a lot of research, I went with a 51.2V 314Ah LiFePO4 battery from EGbatt, which is right in the 16kWh range you're looking at. It's been solid for me.

The built-in self-heating feature is a big plus for our Arizona winters, and being able to just roll it into place in a shed is super convenient . One thing to be aware of is that shipping for these can sometimes take a while, as it ships directly from China, but the packaging is robust .

Here's a link to the product page I bought from: https://www.egbatt.com/product/51-2v-314ah-16-kwh-lithi-renewable-lifepo4-lithium-power-bank-energy-storage/

Hope that helps with your planning. Good luck with the build

You can do the work yourself, just follow the manufacturer's written instructions. And complete the installation to the NEC (National Electric Code). If you don't know the NEC, start asking questions to get your installation completed.

If you purchase from the store here, you will get good customer service. That has been my experience.

There has been some underperfoming batteries being placed in the market from the direct from China sources. The report I read was there were used and or partly damaged cells being sold as new.

Buy from a reputable source and you won't have those types of problems.
