midnite solar spinoff??

I was pretty much set to order a Midnite AIO inverter and rackmount batteries, but I see the AIO and both the 5 and 16kw batteries have been disappeared from the MNSolar website.  The AIO inverter is now on clearance at the store here.

Looking a bit further, I found midnitepower.com, which is apparently a former affiliate company to Midnite Solar, spun off in June 2025.   I couldn't find anything "official" on the MNS website.

Maybe it's just a rebranding, but it's making me rethink.  Maybe I should be looking at Rosie/HawkesBay, or maybe other brands altogether?

Any thoughts or insights?

    From a bud/installer.  "The same team members are working, Rick and Ronnie or email them just change the Midnitesolar to @ MidnitePower.  You can call the 1-800 number for the MNP support, or the support@midnitepower.com. Also if you use the MidniteSolar help, they will move any email to the correct person for help. There should be no laps in warranty support or service support.

    My own take is if it is important to buy something sourced in N. America, you know what to do!
    You know where the A10 is from!

    I try and buy from N. America.  Between Walmart, Costco, and Amazon I can see where.  Sometimes you can't, but you can try!

    Thanks for the insight on the midnitepower thing.

    I'd definitely prefer N.A. sourced, though even those use a lot of offshore parts.  I'm getting the feeling that the AIO etc may not have the same level of support and openness to userland as Midnite had in the past.

    I installed a DIY 5048 for friend and he had lots of questions regarding all the settings . Midnight solar was very helpful with him, very patient. Even though they're not available anymore I imagine they still might be able to help out people who own them.

    2.1 Kw Suntech 175 mono, Classic 200, Trace SW 4024 ( 15 years old  but brand new out of sealed factory box Jan. 2015), Bogart Tri-metric,  460 Ah. 24 volt LiFePo4 battery bank. Plenty of Baja Sea of Cortez sunshine.

    I also think they are finding it a bit more challenging now that they are building inverter/chargers and not just CC's and BOS. Also think that Bob Gudgel is missed. He did so much for installers/designers.

    When you make the box that lights the house, the spotlight is on ! The A10 for instance, has work to do! Even a basic requirement for Offgrid to restart the Inverter after LBCO is still being implemented.
